RSG Rubber Steel Gaskets are an extremely effective technical solution for applications that require a secure and long-lasting seal between steel, stainless steel, GRP or plastic flanges.
Thanks to their structure—an elastomer vulcanized onto a metal ring—these gaskets offer stability, optimal centering, and a perfect ability to adapt to flange surfaces.
In reinforced gaskets, the steel ring plays a fundamental role: it prevents the gasket from being expelled from its seat and keeps the assembly stable even in the presence of misalignments or challenging installation conditions. The elastomer ensures excellent sealing performance, even with low or variable tightening torques.
EPDM gaskets are suitable for drinking water applications according to DM 174 and follow the EN 1514-1 dimensional standard.
NBR versions, on the other hand, are approved for contact with hydrocarbons, further expanding their range of applications.
